Visually Arrested by Design

Discovering visually arresting design from the Muslim and South Asian world

Appreciate

February4

First, I want to say thanks to all my readers out there — Visually Arrested has hit the one year mark and its been a good learning experience. I hope the new year brings new ideas, blogs and readers!

Second, I randomly came across an image on FFFFound and traced back the source to Ibraheem Youssef – a designer/director from Toronto! His custom appreciation cards are fantastic and personalized. I instantly found myself drooling over the design, consturction and wishing I got one in the mail myself. Check out some of his other cool stuff here!

    Hi Asma:

I came across your blog and I LOVE IT! The cards by Ibrahim are pretty nice, too.

Interestingly enough, you feature the Sakeenah Notes from my website: SilverEnvelope.com–The Islamic Stationery Company on your blog. (http://asma.shafi.org/blog/2009/04/07/sakeenah-notes/). Glad you like them…come by for a visit and check out our other products!

    Thanks,
    Raana
